How CVF Is Different

  1. Carpe Vita Foundation (CVF) programs have short durations and small session sizes.  CVF believes that through careful planning, "less is more".

    • CVF provides short, accelerated programs that focus on a specific set of high-value information and skills.  The material takes just a matter of days to learn and adopt.
    • CVF program sessions are small and are made up of students who have great attitudes and high aptitudes.  These individuals generally pick up the training very quickly and have a high probability of success.

  2. CVF is a next generation nonprofit.  It is run the way a for-profit business is run in terms of strategic and corresponding tactical planning and goal setting, monitoring/ensuring operational efficiency and measuring results against original objectives. Along with this is continuous assessment with adjustment.  Generally, any adjustments made would be small and prioritized. This works incredibly well because the process is highly iterative.

    Some might say Carpe Vita Foundation has the potential to be different from the others, and perhaps, better in some ways. 

    By utilizing best practices that are currently being used in highly successful for-profit businesses, CVF can run more efficiently and predictably than others in our space.  Who benefits from this? CVF (we'd require less operational overhead) and the additional children we'd be able to help.
